What a game this past weekend. A fabulous way to play football, and an absolutely unforgettable ending. After nearly an entire game of mediocre football in the crosstown rivalry, the final minute elicited tons of excitement from the fans in the Coliseum, the players and staff on the Trojan sideline, and Coach Carroll.
On the other hand, UCLA supporters, staff, and players were not very happy. Those last few plays also spurred a near-brawl with both benches on the field and one that has the media blurring.
For USC, it is our 10th win in the last 11 games in the crosstown rivalry. The Victory Bell is staying with the Trojans for the year, and we better UCLA once again!
Although only 11 miles apart between campuses, fans from USC and UCLA are miles apart on beliefs in the final minute. Some say one coach is cocky, others say the antecedent. But let’s just let football tell the story!
p.s. Stay tuned, I will post some pictures from the game some time soon.
