Emerald Bowl summary

Apologies for the week of non-posts. I just got back to my house late yesterday.

Well, we had a wonderful time in San Francisco for the Emerald Bowl! It doesn’t hurt to leave NorCal with a final victory to cap off the wild season that 2009 brought.

The week brought first-times and great events. Great laughs among the Jimokes. And great moments among the players. With the finishing touch of another bowl victory.

It’s both sad and relieving to see this season come to a close. It will certainly be nice to have a serious break from those 40-hour work weeks, but trust me. The football practices, camaraderie that is developed, and tossing the pigskin on Howard Jones in the afternoon will be missed. By all.

I got on here just to show I wasn’t completely dead and away from the blogoshpere. Tomorrow will consist of a heavier recap, including phenomenal pictures from the entire week.

Fight On!
